5 Ways to Market Your Brand Through Social Media

Create an Engaging Profile Picture.

Instagram photo size: 1080px * 1080px

 

Size: Minimum 110x100px, ratio 1:1 (square)
 
The profile picture you see on your smartphone is 110x110px and 180x180px on your desktop. 
 
However, it is recommended to upload a large image for a clear profile image. When you post a high-resolution image, it saves it separately in 320x320 pixels and 150x150 pixels for fast loading on Instagram (outputs differently depending on your device) 
If you take a hint here and upload at least 320x320px images, you will be able to see a clearer profile image. 
 
The original profile picture uploaded to your Instagram official account is 1080x1080px. (The file capacity is very small because it is a logo image.) Many companies, including Instagram and Apple, have uploaded high-resolution logo files of 1080x1080px as profile images. 
 
*If you upload full-color photo images such as faces and landscapes as profile images, we recommend 320x320 pixels or more, and low-capacity images such as logo files that convert vectors are 1080x1080 pixels.  
 
What to check before uploading a profile picture
The profile picture removes the edges and shows them in a circle, so in the case of the logo, check to see if there are any cuts and if the image is too full in the circle and upload it.
In addition, since it is printed on the screen in a small size, detailed images or small letters cannot be identified, so it is recommended to simplify the image so that it can be seen well even at 110 pixels. 

 

 

Build a Strong Following.

 

You need to build a strong following before you can expect to make money off of your social media accounts. To do so, you'll need to engage with your followers regularly by posting interesting content and interacting with them.

 

 

Promote your account. No matter how well you decorate your profile and feed, you can't increase your followers unless you're exposed to people. Let's promote my Instagram account to many places as much as possible. It's good to post it on other SNSs and write it down in the mail signature column, but it's most effective to send people a link to my account directly.

People start spamming hashtags to get more 'likes'.Every post you post uses as many hashtags as possible that are not relevant to the content.

 

When you use hashtags, you must use hashtags related to your post. Then, mix them properly with hashtags that people use a lot.It's not good to use hashtags that you use a lot.

 

 

Share Quality Content.

 

If you want to build an engaged community on social media, share quality content. People will follow those who consistently post high-quality content.

  • display properly on all devices
  • are high quality (not pixelated or cropped)
  • fit the platform they are published on
  • include all of the desired elements
